He didn't. A lifetime of work, relationships, and hard-earned savings, and none of it was written down.
He recovered, and in the months that followed I helped him sort out the documents he needed. But that hallway conversation stayed with me. Important paperwork tends to sit untouched until life forces the issue, and by then people are stressed, short on time, and often somewhere inconvenient like a hospital room.
That's why I started Ruminski Notary & Signing Services. I work full time in the legal field, where careful, confidential handling of documents is the standard, and I bring that same care to every appointment. I also know that the moment you need a notary rarely falls between nine and five, so I keep hours most notaries don't: early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
